REGISTRATION PROCESS
Parents interested in registering their child in The Robin’s Nest are asked to contact our Administrative Director via e-mail at RobinsNestBoard@gmail.com. Please include your child/children's name and birthdate in this inquiry email. Applications are given to parents requesting a placement for their child while spaces are available. This placement is solidified by completing an application and paying the required non-refundable $50 registration fee. We highly recommend that parents reach out to us as soon as possible if they hope to enroll their child as spots fill up quickly!
TUITION
To accommodate our different families' needs, The Robin's Nest offers multiple options for tuition payment. There are no additional fees for snack, crafts or supplies.
STUDENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Preschoolers attending The Robin’s Nest Preschool must be at least 3 years old by September 1 of the year they are enrolling. (Parents of children with fall birthdays can request to be put on our "2's Waitlist." Families on this list will be notified of our enrollment status by June 30th. If there are available spots at this time, they will be offered to children on this list with priority given to older 2-year-olds and siblings of former Robin's Nest students.)
Regardless of age, all Robin's Nest students need to be self-sufficient in the bathroom, being completely trained and able to care for their own bathroom needs including wiping themselves, re-positioning their clothing, and remembering to wash their hands. In the first few weeks of preschool, teachers are sensitive to the fact that little ones might have accidents, be reluctant to go to the bathroom in a new environment, and need to be reminded to wash their hands. This is to be expected, and our teachers gently and kindly assist little ones in this transition. However, being potty trained before starting school is an expectation that we believe is critical to maintaining safety and ensuring a positive experience for all of our students. Children must also be able to comply with our behavior expectations which include following simple instructions and responding to adult redirection when necessary. For the safety of all of our students, we can not tolerate biting or hitting, attempts to escape from the classroom, or consistent negative attention seeking.
*If your child has special needs, we ask that you meet with our teachers prior to enrolling your child. Simply send us an email and we will happily arrange a meeting time. We have successfully served many children with special needs in the past, however, we recognize our own limitations and want to ensure that we can meet your student's needs with reasonable accommodations.
The Robin's Nest reserves the right to make final decisions regarding student eligibility in order to ensure the safety of all children at our school.
